Companies with only directors and no other employees

Companies with only directors will not fall into the auto enrolment requirement. Please see the following link to advise the Pensions Regulator that you're not an employer (in the sense of auto enrolment):

You will need your letter code (this can be found on correspondence you have received from the Pensions Regulator) and your PAYE reference.
If you cannot find your letter code, you can generate one using this link (you will need your accounts office reference and PAYE reference).

If you are unsure of your references and you use FreeAgent, the information can be found under Settings: Company Details. Otherwise, please contact your Account Manager.

Once you have advised the Pensions Regulator of your company status, you should then be removed from any future correspondence.
Please be aware that should you employ anybody in the future, you will need to consider your auto enrolment obligations at that time.
